MODERN APPROACHES TO DEVELOPING THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Abstract

 This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of developing the professional competence of future English language teachers, as well as the stages, levels, methods, and tools for its improvement. This process is implemented through pedagogical innovations, akmeological, axiological, creative, reflective, technological, competence-oriented, psychological, and andragogical approaches. In the educational process, the competence-based approach and problem-based teaching methods contribute to the professional development of teachers, the formation of students’ creative and reflective skills, and the organization of interactive and effective learning. The article reflects the priority directions of modern education and innovative methodologies in pedagogical practice.
