METHODS OF USING THINKING-DEVELOPING GAMES IN WORKING WITH UNDERACHIEVING STUDENTS

The article analyzes effective methods of using thinking-developing games in working with underachieving students. The study scientifically substantiates the positive impact of game-based activities on students’ cognitive processes, particularly on their logical thinking, attention, memory, and creativity. It also highlights the pedagogical conditions for integrating game technologies into the learning process and their role in increasing students’ motivation. Examples of didactic games aimed at activating underachieving students and gradually developing their thinking abilities are analyzed. The research results confirm that a game-based approach is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes and engaging them more actively in the educational process.
