TENSE TRANSFORMATION IN UZBEK INFORMATIONAL TEXTS

Abstract

 This article compares temporal changes in English and Uzbek news texts. Time transformation plays a crucial role in information delivery and comprehension. English emphasizes temporal formality to express facts precisely, whereas Uzbek, based on its narrative traditions, favors a more flexible approach. This analysis highlights the cultural and linguistic differences between the two languages.
