SPEAKING PRONUNCIATION ACCURACY FOR INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS AND PEER FEEDBACK

Abstract

Pronunciation accuracrefery plays an important role in developing effective speaking skills for intermediate language learners. Although students at this level can communicate ideas, mispronunciation often affects clarity and understanding. This study examines the impact of peer feedback on improving students’ pronunciation accuracy. Peer feedback allows learners to actively participate in the learning process by listening, evaluating, and correcting each other’s speech. It also helps create a supportive classroom environment that reduces anxiety and increases speaking practice. The results indicate that peer feedback contributes to better pronunciation accuracy, increased awareness of pronunciation features, and greater learner confidence. The study concludes that peer feedback is a valuable tool for enhancing speaking skills in intermediate language classrooms.
