Abstract

The 21st century has brought remarkable changes to the field of education. Modern teaching methods have replaced traditional teacher-centered instruction with learner-centered approaches that promote creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. This study explores the significance of modern teaching methods, their implementation in the classroom, and their impact on students’ motivation and learning outcomes, especially in Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages. The research also discusses how technology supports modern pedagogy and what challenges educators face while adopting innovative techniques during teaching English to foreign language and literature students in second year.
