Abstract

This article explores the challenges faced by teachers in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and presents strategies to overcome them. It identifies key difficulties such as linguistic differences, cultural barriers, lack of motivation, limited teaching resources, and diverse student levels. Based on a review of modern pedagogical research, the article emphasizes that effective ESL teaching depends on innovative approaches, teacher development, and technological integration. It concludes that while teaching English as a second language presents many obstacles, adopting communicative and inclusive methodologies can enhance learning outcomes.
